Internal Medicine
Beth Miller, MD, Program Director and Chief of Internal Medicine for the University of Texas Southwestern Austin Programs, has been teaching residents in the internal medicine program since 1987. She attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Dr. Miller spent an additional year in Chapel Hill as the chief resident.
Dr. Miller has been committed to the care of patients in Austin for several years. Her awards and involvement in the medical community include Austin Monthly Magazine’s Best Doctors of Austin List 2004, Teacher of the Year – Internal Medicine, Austin Medical Education Programs and Education Chair for the Association of Program Directors in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Miller has two sons. In her free time, she enjoys running around Lake Lady Bird, gardening and singing.
